Botanical Gardens

It was very unspringlike today, but we thought a visit to the Botanical Gardens might be encouraging. Quinn, Owen, Aunt Lolo, Nonnie, and I had a wonderful time.

Dan and I took Quinn to her first (and our first) Hoe Down at Westminster. She had alot of fun with Charlie, who is in her class at school. When Nonnie brought over her cowboy boots, she was a little uneasy walking in them. But she quickly adjusted and was running and dancing in no time!! We think Quinn will enjoy attending the Hoe Down for many years to come.

Quinn was very entertaining in the Dance Lab at Strong Museum. Dan and I thought she had some great moves! Enjoy the clips!

Strong Museum

Dan, Quinn, and I went to visit Strong Museum of Play on Monday. It is an amzing place! It was hard to "play" and take pictures, but we managed to get a few good ones. We already can not wait to go back again soon! Some of the favorites included Wegmans, Sesame Street, and Mr Potato Head.Quinn thrilled to get her mini cart.

Fun Saturday

Quinn and I are very anxious for spring. Saturday morning it was still rather chilly but we went to the playground anyways. She had a great time, and Owen had fun watching!

Saturday afternoon Nina and Craig came over to meet baby Owen. Craig was super excited to hold him (unfortunately I did not get a picture), but he did a great job. It was fun to see them and we look forward to the next time they are in town!

8 weeks & 28 months

8 week update

Owen went to the doctor today for his 2 month checkup. He weighs 11 lbs 11.5 oz and he is 22 3/4 inched long. That puts him in the 50th percentile for both height and weight. The pediatrician says he looks great! Unfortunately, he had 4 shots and has not been smiling quite as often as he was. Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow!

"Ollie" came over for dinner tonight. Quinn was excited to show her how she holds Owen. We all loved the brownies and ice cream she brought for dessert. QPB entertained us after dinner by playing music and dancing.
On Tuesday Quinn had fun pulling Owen in the wagon.
