First Day of Summer Vacation!

Today was my first day of summer vacation! We walked to the zoo and met Evan, Charlie, and Ellie. We got to meet Ellie's little brother James. He is such a wonderful baby, he slept the entire time. Charlie, Evan, and Quinn checking out the elephants

Evan stopped over on Monday. They had alot of fun playing together and dining together.
Quinn has shown interest in building "choo-choos" with her blocks.

Father's Day & Owen is Five Months Old!

I went out for a nice Father's Day lunch with my dad and sisters today. After a relaxing afternoon watching Quinn play in the backyard, we had a nice dinner for Dan, which included all of his favorites. Owen also joined us at the dining room table in the high chair, which was a first!

Owen turned 5 months old today.
In the picture above Quinn is "helping" him play. They just adore one another (really)! Owen is rolling over and maneuvering around the floor on his belly. When he gets tired and does a face plant, Quinn is quick to turn him over so he is on his back again. Owen is quite the drooler, but no teeth yet. He loves when we sing to him, or anytime Quinn is near him. We think he is a happy & perfect little baby boy!

Quinn's Last Day of School

It seems like just yesterday that Quinn started at Westminster in the Rabbit Patch. She really enjoyed her 1st year of school especially making new friends, painting, singing songs, and playing outside. We have really seen an improvement in her vocabulary! Quinn will return to the Rabbit Patch in the fall, but for now she is on summer vacation. I am looking forward to joining her, just five more days of school for me! On Thursday morning Dan went to Quinn's end of the year picnic, which was held inside because of the weather. having a pizza lunch with her dear, sweet Charlie (far right)

Sat 6/13

On Saturday morning Nonnie, Lolo, Aunt Rie & Jay, and I all participated in the Susan Komen Race for the Cure. We all had alot of fun, especially Nonnie who pushed her grandchildren on her birthday. We also had a delicious lunch and cake afterwards, but no photos were taken.
Saturday afternoon Dan and Quinn had some fun in the backyard while I was taking a shower inside.

Saturday evening Owen was all smiles! Quinn spent the night at Aunt Lolo's and Owen joined Dan and I for dinner in her chair while she was away (don't tell)!

Fun Weekend

We had our block sale yesterday and Quinn & Pops made cookies and lemonade to sell.
Since Caillou is not on in the morning anymore, Quinn gets her fix on the computer.
