Wednesday Fun Day!

We had a busy morning. We went with Ollie to the library, playground, and lunch. While Owen was taking a nap, Quinn got cozy on the ottoman and fell sound asleep. She looked so cute, but I have to remember naps are no good for her. She only slept 45 minutes but could not fall asleep until after nine tonight!

We went to the zoo tonight for Member Night. There were animals out to touch, treats, music, and train rides! Quinn, Owen, and I had a great time.

Bidwell Concert

We went to the concert on Bidwell Parkway last night. This is Quinn's third summer going to these concerts, and she knew just what to do...dance!! We ran in to Lily & Pete!
This is what Owen was doing the entire time, running away from us...

unless he was strapped in to the stroller.

We hope to go to the concerts each week!

BBQ Fun

The Pickering's invited four other families with kids ranging from 3 1/2 to 9 weeks over, there was a bounce house, pool, slip & slide, swing set, toys, 3 well-behaved dogs, food, & drinks.

Needless to say, FUN was had by BOTH kids & adults!!

It is nice to see him sit and play by himself.

Happy Summer Vacation

Quinn, Owen, Aunt Jennie, Uncle Conor and I went to Canada to visit Uncle Butch at the beach today. It was my first day of vacation, and it was perfect. The kids were great, this is going to be a FUN summer!

Silver Lake

Dan, Quinn, and Owen went to Silver Lake for the first day of summer! Quinn was really looking forward to strawberry picking and making jam. Everyone had a great time, and we are looking forward to going back for the 4th of July!

Dan told the kids that every evening at the lake, everyone gets dressed up for cocktail hour. Quinn quickly put on her fanciest dress!!

17 months old

Owen is an extremely happy boy.

He continues to be a great eater & sleeper.

Owen is very fast and loves to play to outside.
I am looking forward to having a wonderful summer with both of them!

Father's Day

We had a great day today celebrating my dad and Dan.Quinn, Owen, and I went to the store yesterday to buy all of Dan's favorites for dinner tonight. Quinn thought it would be appropriate to make a cake, a Strawberry Shortcake cake.

She LOVES Strawberry Shortcake. So we started the morning off by making the cake.
We went to visit Pops at work, and had a nice lunch outside.
Everyone had fun walking around.
