Playground & Rose Garden

On Monday morning I took Quinn & Owen to the Rose Garden playground. Owen had a great time on the swings and Quinn had fun playing, smelling the flowers, and walking around Delaware Lake.

Owen began sitting up last Friday, and each day he gets a little bit more steadier. He is very excited with the new things he is able to do in this position. Owen is enjoying sitting on the floor playing with his toys.
Quinn is very into building with her blocks. Owen who was sitting near the blocks, began knocking down her displays. Quinn got very upset and told Owen he should go to "time out". After I stopped laughing, I decided Owen may be a little "safer" playing in the Pack&Play when his sister is building.

Explore & More

Every Friday Explore and More is down on the waterfront with fun activities for kids. Quinn, Owen, Lauren, and I went yesterday and had a great time. We parked at Aunt Lolo's office and took the train.

Silver Lake

The four of us went down to Silver Lake for a few nights. We had an enjoyable time!

Owen

Owen is now 6 months old!

He went to the doctor on Monday and he weighs 17 lbs 9 oz and is 27 inches. He is in the 50th percentile for weight and 75th for height.

He is eating rice cereal, squash, and sweet potato.

Owen is a very happy baby and loves to be around his big sister.

He naps once a day and sleeps through the night.

Owen loves to play on the floor, and is not quite sitting up yet.

Italian Festival

Quinn, Owen, Nonnie, Pops, Ollie, and I went to the Italian Festival tonight for 29 minutes. We had some delicious treats and listened to some music.

Sunday Morning Fun

Quinn & Owen were very sniggly on this chilly Sunday morning.

Quinn LOVES her bags, I have no idea where she may get that from?

YES...she is wearing flannel pajamas in July, a Dora bandaid on her forehead, and a shamrock necklace.

Quinn thought Owen's hair needed some styling.

He enjoyed it!

Wednesday Fun!

Quinn, Owen, and I started out the morning by going to the zoo. We were only half way down Parkside when Quinn had finished her pb&j and began eating her granola bar

(it was only 9:55am).
We finally stayed to watch the brief sea lion show.

This afternoon we went to the McCarthy's pool for a little swimming. This was only Quinn's second time in the pool this year. She loved the slide, and she was able to touch the bottom on her tip toes.
