Enjoy the video clip! Owen is a pretty funny little guy. He loves to "smile" for the camera.

Owen turned 13 months on Sunday. He is a happy boy and loves to play, read books, climb, and take baths. Owen eats EVERYTHING! He is a great sleeper, about 12 hours each night, and a 2-3 hour nap each day.

Spring??

All ready to go!

On Sunday afternoon, there was bright sunny skies and the temperature was in the mid thirties. The four of us headed out to take a walk. This was Owen's first walk outside since he has been walking. He was so proud of himself! Unfortunately, the snow covered the sidewalks again today, so we will hope for a "spring" walk again soon!!

Saturday Fun!

We headed to the Science Museum again this morning. Quinn met her friend Joseph there, and everyone had a great morning. I was very impressed to see how Quinn went to different areas and spent time playing with different things. Before we went home, we had a picnic lunch at the cafe.

If you look closely you can see the pine comb bird feeder that she made. She realized a bird was near, so she grabbed my camera to take a picture.

This afternoon we decorated for St. Patrick's Day.

What a Week!

I had a great winter break this week. This morning we went to music class and both Quinn and Owen saw alot of friends! Quinn participated and was very well behaved. She was excited to sing and dance with her buddy Evan. The two of them are so sweet together, you can truly tell they have known each other for over three years. It was apparent that Owen is not used to attending a music class. He could not sit in my lap, and was very fond of the teacher Miss Katie. The picture below is of Owen gazing at the teacher, while all of the other children are in their parents laps. He stood in front of Miss Katie for the entire song!

We had zucchini with our dinner tonight and Quinn was very eager to help cut it up!

Buffalo Science Museum

The four of us had a fun family morning at the science museum. The third floor is perfect for the kids to explore. We look forward to visiting again soon, and can't wait to see the new Sesame Street exhibit later this month!

Valentine's Day 2010

We had a great Valentine's weekend. Friday night Quinn opened a few presents sent from Aunt Eileen, she loves the new "wand pen", and used it to make a list for Wegmans. she kept saying, "hmmm, what do we need?"
On Saturday morning Quinn and I went to Westminster for crafts. She enjoyed making a picture frame, a valentine, a headband, getting a tatoo, and decorating a cookie.

Nonnie and Ollie were babysitting Owen, and when we picked him up we had a surprise pizza lunch. When we got home Quinn thought we should bake some cookies.

And then this evening we went to have dinner with Lily, Pete, and Mimi. It was nice to see Mimi and enjoy a Sunday dinner with NO SCHOOL tomorrow!!

We went and had a delicious dinner with Nonnie, Pops, and Ollie tonight. Pops made a great dinner and Nonnie made a heart shaped cake. Quinn loved it!

Quinn and Owen have really grown and changed alot in the past year.

In the picture above, Quinn was just getting home from her ice skating lesson, which she loves. Quinn continues to enjoy school two days a week, and going to Cub Club at the zoo every other week. She is playing independently more frequently and is a great big help with Owen.

Owen went to his one year appointment today. He weighs 22 pounds 11 ounces, and is 28 3/4 inches long. He is a perfect eater, and has alot of energy. Owen loves to play with cars, listen to books, and make lots of noise!
